About Pete
Pete's music has been heard in major motion pictures, commercials, concert halls, and on television. Recent credits include music for the cinematic sequences of Atari's re-imagined arcade game Yar's Revenge, arrangements for the Lasse Hallström blockbuster Dear John, conducting/piano for the 2009 remake of Fame, and scoring assistant for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.
Last summer he participated in the ASCAP Film and Television Scoring Workshop, and was subsequently awarded The ASCAP Foundation Harold Arlen Film & TV Award Scholarship for his work.
Recently, Pete worked with composer Christopher Lennertz to arrange and orchestrate original compositions from over 25 film composers - including Brian Tyler, John Debney, Theodore Shapiro, and Deborah Lurie - into one work entitled A Symphony of Hope, which is an effort to raise money for the earthquake victims in Haiti. The symphony was recoded at Warner Bros. with a 90-piece orchestra and 60-person choir.
